Start planning now for our matches. We have one in the Fall and the rest finishing in the Spring. These count towards our record for the Mid-South Conference.

Possum rally over Memphis 25-20

On Saturday Knoxville played a very physical Memphis team led by former Possum Greg White. The game looked like it would end in a tie when Knoxville stole a Memphis scrum in the last minutes of play and Brad “Smegal” Meccia picked the ball up and raced 20 meters for the try. A fierce Memphis rally fell just short and the Possums came away with the win 25-20.

Knoxville takes 1st Place in USA Rugby South Central Pool

Due to short numbers, Huntsville had to forfeit the upcoming April 3rd match. In light of this forfeiture, Knoxville claims outright 1st place in the Central Pool and will host Little Rock Rugby Club on April 10th for the 1st round of the playoffs

Possums over Renegades RFC….moves to 5-1

The Atlanta Renegades Division II side traveled to Possum Park on Saturday, March 27th to play the 1st Place Possums. The Renegades were outmatched on the day as Knoxville went on to win many tries to one. Thanks to the Renegades for the match and for a good social presence afterward.

Knoxville outpaces Old White 81-0

On Saturday March 20th, Knoxville overwhelmed a traveling Old White side. Knoxville jumped up quick on its Central Pool rival with (2) quick tries in the first ten minutes which would foretell the rest of the match. Knoxville would go on to lead 52-0 at halftime and 81-0 at full time. Read More »
