Tennessee 7s High School Championship Results

Thank you to all of the teams for making the 2007 Tennessee 7s Rugby High School Championship a success. We had a great day of rugby and some very exciting matches in the afternoon to decide the winners of each division.

Siegel West North Mecklenberg (Charlotte) Murfreesboro

Between the morning and afternoon sessions, Siegel won the skills competition with representatives from each team competing in kicking and running competitions.

Bearden Wins 2nd Annual High School Rugby Touch Tourney

Bearden defeated Farragut 2-1 in the finals of the 2nd Annual Knoxville Rugby High School Touch Tournament at Possum Park 2/24/2007. The exciting final match came down to the wire with both teams playing excellent defense throughout.

Catholic Prevails at KRFC Touch Rugby Event

January 29, 2006

Knoxville Catholic survived a pool of 15 teams Saturday to capture the Cup Championship at the First Annual KRFC High School Touch Rugby Invitational hosted by the Knoxville Rugby Club January 28, 2006. The Irish overtook Central by as score of 3-1 after outpacing West’s A side in an exciting quadruple overtime semifinal match. Central advanced to the finals by defeating Carter in semifinal play.
