The 6th annual TN 7s High School Division concluded this past Saturday witnessing 12 teams from across the Southeast compete for a championship. Knoxville Catholic survived a pool of 15 teams Saturday to capture the Cup Championship at the First Annual KRFC High School Touch Rugby Invitational hosted by the Knoxville Rugby Club January 28, 2006. The Irish overtook Central by as score of 3-1 after outpacing West’s A side in an exciting quadruple overtime semifinal match. Central advanced to the finals by defeating Carter in semifinal play.
