Knoxville defeats Chattanooa 32-19

On a crisp Saturday afternoon Chattanooga traveled to Knoxville in the second meeting of the season. Both teams came out running. KRFC established good rucking and scrums as Chattanooga’s backs applied steady pressure to the Possum backline. The first half score was 18-7 with Knoxville taking the advantage.
The second half became scrappy as both teams battled for momentum. Chattanooga continued with their back line quickness keeping pace with the Possums. In the end, KRFC was a little too much on the day for their southern rivals and won 32-19.
Knoxville Rugby would like to thank Chattanooga Rugby and all of the spectators that came out to support their respective teams.
