chattanoogaThe first home match of the Spring 2009 Matrix season had our in state rivals from down south make the trip up I-75. Rain from the night before and a slight drizzle increased the number of knock-on’s and overall sloppiness, but the Possums managed to stave off a last minute Chattanooga scoring blitz to win 31-14. The Possums came out as a more determined team from the week before due to two efficient practice sessions. While there were still issues that need to be worked on as a team and a few ball handling errors due to the wet weather, a solid win was just what was needed to build on for the coming week. Halftime: Possums 24 – Chattanooga 0. Final: KRFC 38 – CRFC 14
