Possums Kick Off Season Against Old White DII

KRFC kicks off the 2007 Spring Matrix this Saturday in Atlanta. The Possums will take on Atlanta Old White DII who have already gotten their season underway by splitting two close matces with their crosstown rivals, the Atlanta Renegades. The Renegades will travel to Knoxville for a match on February 10.
KRFC is positioned to improve on last year's success by returning several key players and acquiring the services of newcomers Josh Peay, Brian Darilek, and Dale Thayer. Additionally, Adam Ingle has returned from a brief stint in Charleston, and several junior squad members showed in a scrimmage last week that they are ready to step in and contribute.
Kickoff in Atlanta is at 1:00 pm. Directions to the pitch and further details will be available on the main site or message board.
Training for Junior and Senior sides continues at 6:30 pm every Tuesday and Thursday evening at Mary Vestal Park.
