Ok guys, me and vince have been looking at schedules for the world cup tour. the airfare alone is roughly 900, then count on a couple of hundred dollars at least for tickets to three pool games and one quarterfinal, money for your kit, train tickets, beer, wine, loose women, gambling etc etc. i'd say bank on 3.5 to 4 grand total cost. that being said, we are planning on taking a touring side and playing at least two games. so we are going to save spots for twenty (20) people … that will be about all the logistical nightmare we can handle. i don't imagine we will get 20 people just from our club, so i'm going to send invitations to nooga, ut, old boys and greeneville and see who's interested. so what we've decided is the first twenty people to pay us a $1000 deposit will get a spot. we need the money ASAP obviously because the sooner we book tickets, accomodation etc the better. the cutoff date will be the end of january. anyone that hasn't paid their deposit by then isn't coming, and based on numbers at that point we'll decide if we're going to organize matches. if you are interested and want more information please contact me via pm at our forum page ..
