Eric “BGE” Johnson had the honor of scoring the first try at Possum Park for the Old Boys, being assisted by Oscar Doster after he broke through the Possum defense. Other highlights of the match included Marty Bradley utilizing his foot on the wide pitch, Doug Powell being involved in the first scuffle taking on Alex Decker, Heath Hildreth being the first to get “BGE’d,” and Steve “Wildman” Moore consistently covering his man in support on offensive moves.
The A-side came out inspired against the Kelts, opening the scoring as “Big Fat” Ron Silver busted throught the Kelt defense to open the scoring. Ultimately, The Possums won 55-12, and the Kelts stayed in K-town and had a good time.
