Mardis Gras Tournament 1998

The Knoxville Possums had a strong showing Feb. 21 and 22 at the annual Mardi Gras Tournament in Baton Rouge, placing 2nd in the Open Division.

After 3 hard fought wins on Saturday against Arlington, Ozarks, and Austin, the score in Sunday’s finals against LSU Alumni was tied at the end of regulation and was unable to be decided in 10 minutes of sudden death. LSU alumni eventually won onn kicks.
